Becca O'Neal's comedy night Congrats on your Success has been BLOWING UP. She's hosting up-and-coming local comics and superstars like Brian Babylon of Chicago Public Radio--get your giggles this Thursday, February 7th and next month on Thursday, March 7th at 7 p.m.
ART in action: on Friday, February 8th, Meghan Lamb of Dark of the Male, Light of the Female is bringing in a text art show by program participants at Esperanza Community Services, an arts and education program for adults with developmental disabilities. And on Saturday, February 9th, Jennifer Hines will be at the store from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with her interactive installation Balanced and Stacked. The installation is housed in a briefcase, and viewer-participants can add their memories to the piece.
On Tuesday, February 26th, we're thrilled to host the first installation of PROJECTTILE, a reading series hosted by brand new feminist literary journal and its editors, Anne Yoder and Meghan Burbank. This reading features Rebecca Elliot, Patty Petelin, and a personal fave, Mairead Case--readings start at 7 p.m. <3 <3 <3
