This is an early printing of the major work by sex-positive, homosexuality-positive French philosopher Guyon. Guyon's legacy is complex, as he was largely known in his day as head judge of the Siamese Supreme Court and one of the writers of the Siamese code of law. In the 1980s, the "Rene Guyon Society" became a target of right wing televangelist/troll Jerry Falwell's Moral Majority panic, cited as pro-pedophilia organization corrupting the nation. Alas, there is no evidence that the Rene Guyon Society ever actually existed nor that Guyon advocated anything remotely resembling pedophilia. Near fine / very good. Item #1009
