This is a very scarce first edition anthology of writings by early American luminaries. The editor, Edwin Greenlaw, was a Renaissance man of letters at the University of North Carolina, a favorite teacher of Thomas Wolfe, and the man to whom UNC's English Department building, Greenlaw Hall, is dedicated. Good. Item #1203
