Association copy. This is a first edition memoir by Carter H. Harrison IV, five-term mayor of Chicago, and son of Carter III, also a five-term mayor of Chicago. Carter IV was the first Chicago native elected mayor. This copy is warmly inscribed to noted Chicago art collector C. Norton Owen, several of whose Renoir prints are on display at the Art Institute. A handsome book scarcely seen in this condition with a unique and historical inscription. Very good / very good. Item #1442
