New York: Museum of Modern Art, 1971. First Edition. Paperback. 4to. Wraps. In original plastic case, with Jasper Johns multiple (color discs and brush attached), foam pad, and insert. 108 pp.
A bit of scuffing to case. Johns' Target 1970 multiple completely intact with 3 unused watercolor pads and brush, which is still glued in and unused. Foam pad is darkened around edges and has circular discolorations from the facing color pads. Insert is curled at left edge. Book is fine.
This is a scarce MOMA exhibition catalog which features a 2-color Jasper Johns lithograph multiple with watercolor pads and brush, which "invites you to collaborate with Jasper Johns in creating your own version of his Target." Johns' signature is a facsimile. Very scarcely seen with all elements intact and in original condition. Near fine. Item #1475
