Elements of Physics
New York: McGraw-Hill, 1927. Reprint. Cloth. 8vo. Forest green cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Diagrams and illustrations throughout. 660 pp.
Minor scuffing to edges. Hinges overopened. Ownership stamps of Clarence T. Brewer inside covers and on title page, blacked out with marker by a previous owner. Tight and clean.
This is a scarce physics textbook, a reprint of the 1923 original. It was owned by noted Chicago engineer Clarence T. Brewer, who owned a local engineering and consulting firm which held a number of patents. A handsomely printed volume which would make a lovely gift for the science-minded person. Very good.
