New York: Adventure, 1929. First Edition. Wraps. This is a set of 4 Adventure Magazines, an American pulp magazine which ran from 1910-1973. Adventure was published twice a month, on the 1st and 15th. The issues contained in this lot are all from 1929, during the tenure of famed editor Anthony Rud, and originally sold for 25 cents (30 cents in Canada). All of these issues are in good condition, with chips and closed tears to the wrap edges. All issues are complete, though the rear cover of the May 1st issue is loose and laid in. The covers and illustrations are culturally insensitive, products of their time. The following issues are contained in this lot:
