This is a first edition memoir of Colorado pioneer Howbert's life and conflicts with the indigenous people of the region. The more common 1925 reprint is titled Memories of a Lifetime in the Pike's Peak Region, but this is the original issue. (Howes H715). Very good. Item #2153
