All are in very good condition save for some very minor scuffed edges and a bit of foxing. Tides of Barnegat has a small scratch on front cover. All are bound in green cloth with gilt lettering, gilt top edge, and a gilt decoration on cover.

Smith was an author, artist, and engineer, builder of the foundation of the Statue of Liberty and a descendant of Francis Hopkinson, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. His novels were usually humorous satires of the American upper class. Very good. Item #320
