Edges are worn all the way around with some small chipos to the boards. Both hinges cracked. Front free endpaper and frontispiece loose and laid in. Pages are brittle and have some minor chipping. "Curtis Book Company" stamp on title page. Otherwise clean.
This is a collection of Charles Dickens' stories adapted for children by his granddaughter, Mary Angela Dickens. The handsome illustrations "made especially by famous artists" are noteworthy. Good. Item #885
