New York: World Publishing Company, 1957. First Edition. Hardcover. 8vo, original beige cloth, stamped in black; dust jacket (unclipped). Inscribed on the front free endpaper: "To Ethel Fischer / Very best regards - / MacKinlay Kantor / 5 Jan. 1967." Additionally inscribed by Irene Kantor, MacKinlay's wife, in red ink. A little toning to cloth on spine; dust jacket with a little edgewear, a few small stains and soiling, long internal tear/flaw across front panel.
