DUETDUET, a pitymilk press publication, is an experiment in blind dates and/or happy accidents publishing equal amounts of poetry from two separate authors (perhaps strangers), oriented in opposite directions. The results are curiously perfect hot air balloons.

Join us for a reading featuring DUETDEUT vol 4 contributors Dolly Lemke and Kelly Lorraine Andrews. Both Lemke and Andrews will lead us around the empty apartment inside ourselves, admiring the trinkets, the flowers, the growing tide in the back of our throats. Joining DUETDUET 4 contributors will be Chicago's illustrious Maggie Queeney.

Dolly Lemke lives and works in Chicago. She is the author of three chapbooks: O Town Heights (DoubleCross Press, 2012), I’m so into you (plumberries press, 2013), and Wyoming (dancing girl press, 2018). She founded and co-curated of The Dollhouse Reading Series from 2011-2016 and also co-founded the online poetry journal PINWHEEL where she serves as Poetry Editor.

Kelly Lorraine Andrews is the author of four chapbooks, most recently My Body Is a Poem I Can't Stop Writing (Porkbelly Press) and The Fear Archives (Two of Cups Press). She edits the online journal Pretty Owl Poetry, based out of Pittsburgh PA, where she resides with her two chonky cats, Lornadee and Baby Goose.

Maggie Queeney is the author of settler, winner of the 2017 Baltic Writing Residency Poetry Chapbook Contest. Her recent work is found or forthcoming in Crab Orchard Review, Fugue, The Fairytale Review, The Cincinnati Review, Bennington Review, and Poetry Northwest. She reads and writes in Chicago.
