Zebulon Hurst is leaving us for grad school in California! We are so proud of him, so we are throwing him a reading before he leaves.

zebulon beatrix hurst is a midwestern amalgam. born in chicago, raised in Iowa City, and days away from a move to Berkeley, CA, he's an aquarian with virgo tendencies and mumbles more often than not. he likes crying when he watches television, reading character-driven novels, and gay shit. he loves you, yeah, yeah, yeah. + with a love like that, you know you should be glad.

Laura Goldstein's first collection of poetry, loaded arc, was released by Trembling Pillow Press in 2013 and her second collection, awesome camera was published by Make Now Press in 2014. Phil Kostov is a Soviet Space Jew Spy sent to the US to steal technology in the manufacture of Fritos Twists. Phil’s poetry is currently focused on making connections between the American Desert, apocalyptic Messianism, colonialism, nomadic poetics, Kabbalah, the creation of the National American Identity, frontier vampires, development of the desert, i.e. dams, railroads, infrastructure, etc…
