Girard: Haldeman-Julius Company, 1937. Pamphlet. 8vo. 8.5"x5.5" Staple-bound wraps. 30 pp. with advertisements.
Bottom right corner of front cover creased. Tight and clean.
This is a reprint of McCabe's critical lecture. Though the wraps are colored maroon, this is considered to be part of Emanuel Haldeman-Julius' "Big Blue Book" series, an offshoot of his more recognized "Little Blue Books." Haldeman-Julius was a prolific socialist publisher, editor, author, and social reformer, best known for his series of inexpensive paperbacks covering intellectual subjects like literature, politics, religion, fine arts, history, and more. There were 2300 unique titles in the series and most are very collectible. Very good. Item #965
